Alan started working for Park Falls Building & Hardware at a young age. He spent his summers helping out with the family business until he graduated from high school. Upon graduation in 1993, he started working full-time for the business until he began post-secondary education. He attended NTC Wausau for Residential Design. While attending school, he worked for the company’s Stratford location. Upon completion of his schooling, he returned to the Park Falls area and began his position as a draftsman. Alan designs homes and buildings through architectural programming. Alan also specializes in Kitchen Design. Alan also can assist with bathroom design, countertops, windows, and anything else building-related. Alan also has experience with General Contracting. John has been with the company since 1973. At a young age, he began working for the Stratford location in the yard and as a carpenter. He continued there until his father – one of the original founders of the business – decided to start a branch in Park Falls. He chose John to be the manager of the Park Falls location, and John and his family promptly moved to the Park Falls area in 1980. John has his license for General Contracting and does much of the estimating necessary for new homes and a variety of other jobs. John is partially retired, though he still acts as the head of Park Falls Building & Hardware. He typically is available from 7 am to 12 pm Monday through Friday Central Time Zone.

Carrie worked for the family business in high school before moving on to college, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later her Master’s Degree in Counseling. She returned to the business in 2014. Initially, she returned to help the business re-open following a fire, but this transpired into a long-term position where she became more intricately involved with the company. She manages most of the hardware store ordering and is the primary contact for the painting and flooring departments. You can email Carrie at cchrouser@parkfallsbuilders.com.

Kyle returned as an in-office employee in January of 2019. Kyle worked for the Builders years ago when we still had our own construction crews. When the Builders no longer had crews, Kyle continued his work in construction by becoming a contractor and working alongside other contractors. Kyle has years of experience in the industry and brings a great deal of knowledge and insight to the team. He will be doing estimating and drawing and will work hand in hand with the contractors. Dennis started working for the Builders in December of 2019. He is a full-time Sales Associate. He lives in the area and has three children. Dennis has a laid-back attitude and strives to provide solid customer service. He has been a great addition to the PFBS team! Dennis can be reached at dleach@parkfallsbuilders.com.

Alan has been with the company since he was a young man. He began working for the company at the Stratford location in 1971, and his primary experience there involved carpentry. When John was sent to open the Park Falls location, Alan volunteered to join him. Alan continued working as a head carpenter for years until he moved into the office. Alan does a great deal of estimating, especially for shingle and metal roofs. His many years of carpentry have allowed him to understand the building process better than most, which results in the ability to help contractors and customers plan jobs according to code and safety as well as problem-solve unique and difficult situations.
